The milestone opening of the 100th state hospital operating under the Health Information Management System (HHIMS) was held on the 16th of February 2025 at Divisional Hospital Baduraliya. The event was graced by the Honorable Minister of Health, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, as the Chief Guest.

The occasion was attended by the Director of Health Information of the Ministry of Health, the Provincial Director of Health Services – Western Province, the Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director of Health Services of Kalutara District, along with representatives from the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA).

The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with ICTA, continues to implement innovative Digital Health solutions across state hospitals, enhancing healthcare delivery and administrative efficiency. This achievement underscores the commitment to modernizing healthcare services nationwide.
