The Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said that considering cancer not as an individual tragedy but as a challenge for the entire nation, it is the priority of the Ministry of Health and the current government to act to save people from it.

The minister said this yesterday (20) while speaking after signing the agreements for the second phase of the project to install state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment (Liner Accelerator Machines) in selected public hospitals at the premises of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.
