நாட்டின் மருந்து உற்பத்தித் துறையின் வளர்ச்சிக்காக 18% VAT வரியை நீக்கி நிவாரணம் வழங்கியதற்காக தற்போதைய சுகாதார அமைச்சரையும் அரசாங்கத்தையும் மேற்கத்திய மருந்து உள்ளூர் உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கம் பாராட்டுக்களை தெரிவித்தது.
மருத்துவமனை கட்டமைப்பை மருத்துவம் மற்றும் சுகாதார சேவைகளுக்கு மட்டும் மட்டுப்படுத்தாமல், நோயாளிகள் மனரீதியாக குணமடையும் இடமாக மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்று சுகாதார மற்றும் ஊடக அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார்.
